Boys & Girls Clubs of America is a national organization of local chapters which provide after-school programs for young people.  The ULI center has partnered with several clubs in Knox County to engage K-12 students in interactive STEM activities.

 


Student Organizations

American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA)

AIAA logoAIAA is the largest professional and technical society, principal voice, and information resource devoted to the progress of engineering and science in aviation and space. The student chapter of the Tennessee section of AIAA at the University of Tennessee is actively involved in enriching the undergraduate experience in Aerospace Engineering by providing aerospace-related social and educational experiences.

Society of Women Engineers

The Graduate Association of MABE Engineers (GAME)

GAME is an organization of MABE graduate students. It fosters community within the department’s graduate programs by encouraging outreach, technical collaborations, and social gatherings. GAME also works to improve graduate student life by acting as a liaison between graduate students and the department.

Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, Tennessee Alpha Chapter

Tau Beta PiTau Beta Pi is the only engineering honor society representing the entire engineering profession. It was founded to recognize students for their distinguished scholarship and exemplary character, or by their attainments as alumni in the field of engineering, and to foster a spirit of liberal culture in engineering colleges.  The Tau Beta Pi headquarters is sited at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
